He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Anderson Hood and Eufala Marable Hood. He is survived by: his wife Nila Hood; and his children, William David Hood, Jr., Mark Harrison Hood, Sr. (Joyce), Jessica Hood Flowers (Jesse) and Daniel Garland Hood. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
