He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Bland and Mildred Self Bland; his former wife Jean McKay Bland; and his brother Mike Bland. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McLellan Bland; his stepson Walker Vivian (Jessica Robertson); his stepgrandchildren, Brody, Tessa and Walker "Bubba"; and his nieces and nephews, Ashlee Harrell and Kam Harrell.
