He was predeceased by: his parents, Fulton Rufus Norris and Betsy Todd Norris; his wife Dorothy Norris; his granddaughter Heather Goodson; and his siblings, Cecil Norris, Frank Norris and Opal Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin Norris (Sherri) of Darlington and Terri Norris of Darlington; his grandchildren, Blair Cockrell (Bradley), Phillip Norris (Taylor) and Cole Norris; and his great grandchildren, Joey Goodson and Kinsley Norris.
