She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie E. James and Olivia Mae Watts James. She is survived by: her husband George; her daughter Kathleen Sturgeon Fambrough; her siblings, Luddrick, L. E. James, Grace Shoemake and Jeanette Davis; her sons-in-law, Maurice Fambrough and Sherrill Smith; her children, Lenora Smith of Columbia and George M. "Pete" Sturgeon (Gladys) of Darlington; and her sister Myrtice Olenick of Columbia. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
