She was predeceased by: her parents, Braxton Huggins and Mattie Britt Huggins; her former husband Milton Byrd; her husband Jack Smith; her grandchildren, Howard "Trey" Byrd, III, John Conwell Byrd, Mattie Elizabeth Byrd and Coy Howell Byrd; and her siblings, Johnny Huggins, Don Huggins, Wayne Huggins and Jimmie Lou Bertram.
She is survived by: her children, Sabrina Street (Lawrence) of Darlington, Howard Byrd, Jr. (Mary Anne) of Lugoff, SC and Ron Byrd (Melissa) of Darlington; her grandchildren, Krystal Cheatham (Josh), Gabrielle Shealy (Austin), Anna Lee Byrd, Ethan Byrd, Gavin Byrd, Braxton Byrd, Heath Byrd, Allie Byrd, Matthew Street (Paige) and Chloe Street (Tyler Gibson); her great grandchildren, Waylon Shealy and Easton Cheatham; her sister Lyall Abbott (Richard); her sister-in-law Helen Huggins; and her pet Sable.
