He is survived by: his wife Polly Smoak of Darlington; his children, Wiley Mayo (Lechelle) of Darlington, James Mayo of Marion, Teresa Johnson (Rodger) of Darlington and Gina Summerford (Colby) of Darlington; his grandchildren, Emily, Rodger, Angel, Little Justin, Annie, Joshua and Kai; and his siblings, Michael Smoak and Kay Brumbles.
