He is survived by: his wife Carol Naylor Boyd; his daughters, Mandy Bass (Lee) of Darlington and Sunny Boyd of Charlotte; his grandson Boyd; his sister Bonnie Edenfield (Jim) of Greensboro; and his sister-in-law Jan Simenson (Ric) of Nashville.
