It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Young of Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde William Davis and Wren Coker Howle; her sister Catherine O'Neal; and her grandchildren, Billy Plowden and Amanda Leigh Young.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Goodson of Hilton Head, SC, Cathy Young of Ashland, KY, Deborah Rentz (Andy) of Rock Hill, SC, Sandy Plowden of Darlington, SC, Neil Young (Randy) of Gilbert, SC and David Young (Dani) of Hartsville, SC. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
