He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor Mendez and Micaela Mendez; his wife Linda Duckett Mendez; his stepchildren, Trina Rouse, Kevin Lee and Jimmy Lee; his stepgrandson Brandon Rouse; and his brother-in-law Rufus Duckett (Peggy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home (315 Pearl St, Darlington, SC 29532). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
