It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Naomi Haynes Smith of Darlington, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Henry Haynes and Ethel Irene Mitcham Haynes; and her sisters, Rachel C. Tanner and Patricia "Patsy" I. Raisor. She is survived by: her husband David G. Smith; her daughters, Wendy Isgett (Robbie) of Lexington and Tiffany Bazen of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandsons, Dylan and Clayton Isgett; her brothers, Billy Haynes (Joetta) of Summerville, David Haynes of Hartsville and Jimmy Haynes (Brenda) of Greer; her brother-in-law Marvin Tanner of Aiken; and her caregiver Linda Allan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
