She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leroy Dees and Mary Grace Helms Dees; and her brother James Michael Dees. She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Sean Johnson (Renee Gainey) and John "Stacy" Johnson (DeeDee Newsome); her grandchildren, Tori, Austin, Paige and Payne Johnson (Jonathan Blake); and her sisters, Mary Patricia D. Steen, Barbara Ann D. James, Jane Leroy D. (Bert), Hendrix and Betty Regina D. Dill. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Belk Funeral Home - Darlington (229 W Broad St, Darlington, SC 29532). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
