She was predeceased by: her parents, James Preston Sweet and Sarah Fields Sweet; and her stepfather Thomas Smalls. She is survived by: her husband Gene P. Copeland; and her children, Sarah Ann Witherspoon of Florence, SC, Jimmy Sweet (Ann), Rex Bruce (Trisha), Barbara J. Bruce and Kathy Muldrow (James) of Darlington, SC. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
