It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Wagner of Darlington, South Carolina, born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Furman Brown and Birdie Hinds Brown. She is survived by: her husband John M. Wagner; her siblings, Virginia Allen and Jerry Brown; her daughters, Fran Willis and Margaret "Pete" Gadley; and her grandchildren, Donna Manci, Lisa Cox and Chad Clark. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethea Retirement Community, 157 Home Avenue.
