He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Greene Lucas and Roland Lucas; his children, Leroy Lucas, Jr. and Eartherleen S. Lucas; his sisters, Earline Teel and Addie M. Stevenson; and his grandson Dayshawn Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian J. Lucas; his children, Roland Lucas (Thomasina) of Hartsville, SC and Shirley Carlyle of Georgia; his adoptive daughter Lucille Lucas of Florida; and his grandchildren, Cora Meredith (Dataye) of Hartsville, SC, Renee Lucas of Florence, SC, Veronica Linnear of Georgia, Latonya Coney of Georgia, Shelia Lowe of Georgia, Tameka Smith of Georgia, Elijah Coney of Georgia, Akeem Hickman of Texas and DeAngelo Thomas of Summerville, SC. He is also survived by numerous stepchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
