It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence H. Melton Sr. of Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogers H. Melton and Viola Stokes Melton; his wife Brenda H. Melton; and his siblings, Donnie Joe Melton, Billy Melton and Linda Grace Byrd.
He is survived by: his sons, Lawrence Melton, Jr. of Darlington, Jonathan Melton (Denise) of Sumter and Brandon Melton (Ashley) of Hartsville; his grandchildren, Kayla (Robert), April, Ashley, Katelyn, Abigail, David Melton, Shea Reynolds (Neil) and Gracyn Iler; his great grandchildren, Gracie and Alex; and his siblings, James Melton (Barbara) and Doris Windham.
