With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Patricia Yarborough of Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Heyward Lyles and Thelma O'Shields Lyles; her sister Sonja Lyles Capra; her nephew Bradford H. Mellette; and her close friend Betty Baker Carlson.

She is survived by: her significant other Donald Eugene Lee, Sr.; her children, Lynne Yarborough Hatten (Lance), James "Jay" Thomas Yarborough, Jr., Jeanne Leigh Yarborough and Kyle Heyward Yarborough (Marie); her grandchildren, Haley M. Bryant, Marie J. Cole, Jonathan A. Cole, Elle L. Yarborough and Bree A. Yarborough; her brother James "Jim" Heyward Lyles, Jr.; her niece Hannah R. Lyles; and her nephew Julian Ramsey Mellette, III (Danielle).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to honor her memory to the Alzheimer's Association to fund research.
