He was predeceased by: his parents, Liston H. Powell and Sadie Belle Jones Powell; his wife Johnnie Ard Powell; and his children, Jeffrey Powell, Susan McRae and Diane Driggers.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joey Driggers (Mandy), Bobby Driggers (Cayci) and Cassie Brown (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Maggie, Robbie, Reese, Anna-Claire and Hunter; and his sister Sherill Tyler of Lake City.
