It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jolane Young (Darlington, South Carolina), who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jolane Young to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Colon Anderson and Betty Jo Carraway Anderson; and her brother Tommy Anderson. She is survived by: her husband Johnny James Young, Jr.; her children, Lacie Ward (David) and T. J. Matthews; her stepchildren, Ella O'Donell (Michael), Mary Beth Young and Johnny Young, III (Becky); her grandchildren, Malery Glaze (Clint), Lindsey Ward, Cadence Matthews and River Matthews; her stepgrandchildren, Trevor Young, Sydney Young, Justin O'Donell (Ruth) and Brianna Hawkins (Carl); and her sisters, Janice Comer and Jean Anderson. She is also survived by 3 step great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Midway Baptist Church (4777 Hoffmeyer Rd, Darlington, SC 29532).
