He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie James Holloway, Sr. and Carrie Blanche Holloway (Humphries); his son Mitch Holloway; and his siblings, Fannie Bell, Mary Ellen, Catheline, Lily, Lourina, Cora Lee, Nellie, Johnie and Joseph Holloway.
He is survived by: his son Mike Holloway (Janice King); and his granddaughters, Amber Holloway Rodgers (Alex) and Megan Holloway. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
