He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernetha Carraway and Shine McClain; his sister Annie Green of Darlington, SC.; his son Jermaine Carraway; his siblings, Barbara Carraway, Herbert Carraway, Carl Carraway, Leroy Carraway and Willie B. Carraway of Baltimore, MD; and his nephew Christopher "Smokey" Carraway.
He is survived by: his children, Bryant Carraway, Adriane Carraway, LaTisha Carraway, Valery Carraway and Nee Nee Littles; his siblings, Joan Davis of Baltimore, MD, Jean Durant of Darlington, SC, Emma Jean Gunn of Timmonsville, SC, Betty Blathers of Clanton, NC, Annie Greene (Mack) of Darlington, SC, Wilson Carraway of Baltimore, MD, Robert Carraway of Darlington, SC and Michael Carraway (Barbara) of Darlington, SC; his sister-in-law Deborah Carraway of Darlington, SC; his close friend Patricia Littles of Baltimore, MD; and his longtime buddy Olson Bannister of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
