It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Blackmon (Darlington, South Carolina), who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Brazell Blackmon Martin and Claude Blackmon; his wife Louise Lloyd Blackmon; his sons, Richard Alan Blackmon and Randy Eugene Blackmon; his granddaughter Angela Marie Blackmon; and his siblings, Billy Blackmon and Peggy Lee.
He is survived by: his son Jimmie Lavern Blackmon; and his grandchildren, Jessica Borgmeyer, Elizabeth, Katie, Calvin, Amy, Luke, Derrick, Brodrick and Lauren Blackmon.
