With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn R. Anderson of Darlington, South Carolina, born in Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson Rodgers and Rosa Courtney Rodgers; and her brothers, Wesley and Warren Arthur Rodgers. She is survived by: her husband Boyd Anderson; her daughters, Rhonda Richardson (Lee) of Darlington and Laura Forehand (Robert) of Florence; her grandchildren, Austin Harrelson, Harrison Forehand, Caleb Forehand, Josh, Jeff and Amanda Richardson; and her sister Loretta Harbuck of Americus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her honor to First Church of God's Children's Program, 620 N. Main Street, Darlington, SC 29532, and the McLeod Hospice House.
