Fred Kirby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Kirby of Darlington, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Fred shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Fred farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Kirby and Eva Mae Welch Kirby; his wife Nivia Sturkie Kirby; his daughter Beverly Haynes; and his siblings, Marie Streett, Annie Ruth Snipes and Robert "Bob" Kirby.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Riffe (Brian); his granddaughter Ashton Haynes; and his sister Betty Sturkie.
