It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward C. Jones of Darlington, South Carolina, born in Faison, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ennis C. Jones and Christine Taylor Jones; his wife Emilie Askew Jones of Darlington; his daughters, Julie J. Beasley of Florence and Kristen Jones of Darlington; his grandsons, Daniel Beasley and Ethan Beasley; his son-in-law Wes Beasley; and his brother Don Jones.
