She was predeceased by: her parents, John Emory Stroud and Martha Jane Hewitt Stroud; her husband Thomas Earl Nance; her grandson Wil Gleason; her daughter-in-law Gretchen Gleason; and her siblings, Delano Stroud, Cecil Stroud, Everette Stroud, Esther Catalano (Florine), Clara Harley and Sally Hooks.
She is survived by: her children, Joye Gleason Irvin of Conway, Dale Gleason, Glenn Gleason (Yvette) of Lamar and Eric Gleason of Greenville; her grandchildren, Dustin, Katie, Jake, Rhett, Elizabeth, Jack, Patrick Gleason (Maria Espinosa), Caroline Gleason Finnie (Alex), Erica Gleason Repko (Rob) and Shaun Newsome; her great grandchildren, James Gleason, Isabella Gleason, Liam Finnie and Sailor Gleason; and her sisters, Rev. Inez Register of Lexington, Wilma Devany of Fayetteville and Gloria Rowell of Myrtle Beach.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meares Funeral Home (6227 US-76, Mullins, SC 29574). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
