She is survived by: her husband Joe Charles "JC" Whitehead, Sr.; her stepson Joe Charles Whitehead, Jr.; her siblings, Jeannette Walker (Kevin), Arlene Shaw, Rosa Brown, Marvin Shaw, Nathaniel Shaw and Raymond Shaw; and her brother-in-law Samuel Cannon (Geraldine). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends.
