She is survived by: her children, Adrienne Bennett and Julius Bennett, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Courtney Ebony Bennett, Joshua G. Bennett, Robert Hewitt and Kai Bennett-Smith. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a special cousin.
