It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Allen Goodson of Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Goodson and Alice Lide Goodson. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Rouse Goodson; his children, Melissa, Kendrick Goodson of Darlington, SC and Charles Goodson Jr. (Akina) of San Diego, California.; his siblings, Robert Goodson (Marlene) of Jacksonville, Mae Hudson (Marcus) of Darlington, SC., Betty "Pat" Goodson of Darlington, SC. and Reverend Barbara Pickard of Darlington, SC.; his mother-in-law Gladys Rouse; his uncle Clarence Muldrow; and his siblings, James, Richard, Johnny and Freddie Goodson.
