He is survived by: his wife Loretta Cherry; his nieces, Betty Cherry Goodson and Linda Cherry; his in-laws, Jeanette Bell, Barbara Burgess (Leroy), Roosevelt Bell, Robert Bell and Elder Danny Holmes; and his siblings, Eloise McElveen, Ethel Durant, Margaret Poole, Rachel Russell, Bernetha Ervin, Mildred Workman, Doretha Foster, Willie Capers, Sr. and Frank Cherry, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
