He was predeceased by: his spouse Eufaula McDonald Shepard; his parents, Sedrick Shepard and Bessi Griggs Shepard; his son Morris Shepard; and his siblings, Harry, Harvey, Elsie and Jenny.
He is survived by: his children, Sharyn (Stan) and Darrell; his daughter-in-law Sandra; his grandchildren, Pam, Chris, Shana, Claire and Ally; and his great great grandchildren, McDonald, Dot, Jeanette, Junior and Gerald (Jackie). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
