She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua James and Martha "Mattie" Baker Roberson; her husband Bill; her son Maxcy Carter; her granddaughter Jenny Carter; her great grandchild Noah Carter; and her siblings, Ralph Roberson, Winnie Roberson, Lola Blanton, Buena McPherson, Thelma McPherson, Druid Roberson and Alvin Roberson.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Carter of Columbia, Marvin Carter (Becky) of Chapin and Joey Carter (Pam) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Michelle McCoy (Bryan), Kristin Wichman (Brian), Mark Harris (Erin), Matt Carter (Emma), Doug Carter (Holly), Brian Carter (Lacey) and Bobby Carter (Jasmine); her great grandchildren, Hayden McCoy, Jett Wichman, Maxci Wichman, Madison Wichman, Braddock Carter, Asher Carter and Keever Carter; and also Patti Carter McKown of Chapin.
