She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Dewitt Russ and Marion Faulkner Russ. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Powell, Jr. (Suzanne) of Maryland, Deborah Sturkie (Freddy) of Darlington, Scott Powell (Cindy) of Florence and Jennifer Williams (Robbie) of Florence; her grandchildren, Johnny Powell, III, Jessica Powell, Christopher Sturkie (Amy), Candice Nealey (Brian), Scottie Powell, II, Hunter Powell, Nathan Williams and Dustyn Williams (Bri); and her close friends, Marlon and Raeanne Malvagomez. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 2536 Hoffmeyer Rd. Florence, SC 29501.
