He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny McCormick and Roxie Rogers McCormick; his sons, Allen McCormick and Robert McCormick; and his siblings, Geneva Strickland, Vivian Moody, Wanda "Bunny" Coker, Barbara "Bobbie" Moser, John McCormick and Earl McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lewis McCormick; his children, Belinda Lane (Kyle) of Darlington and Mike McCormick of Darlington; and his siblings, Marie Wehking of Illinois, Faye Farley of Alabama, Joyce Potter (Richard) of Washington, Betty Amos and Shelby McCormick (Nancy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
