He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Byrd; and his siblings, Sherry Amerson, Dick Byrd, Lorrain Byrd, Jerry Byrd and Claude Byrd.
He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Byrd of Hartsville and Tim Byrd (Sandy) of Darlington; his granddaughters, Tori Byrd and Taylor Byrd of Darlington; and his siblings, Nancy Craig of Georgia, Lola Tice of Society Hill and Danny Byrd of Society Hill.
