She was predeceased by: her mother Beulah McGill; her spouse Codell Sansbury, Sr.; her siblings, Sadie March, Claudia Coward, Francena Ham and Aaron Coward; and her grandson Robert Kenard Moses.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Jean Fields of Darlington, SC, Willistine Burgess of Darlington, SC, Regina Glenn (JJ) of Florence, SC, L. J. Coward of Darlington, SC, Jerome Coward of Darlington, SC, Codell Sansbury, Jr. of Darlington, SC and Melvin Sansbury (Aubrey) of Conway, SC; and her niece Elaine Damon (Edward). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
