He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard C Uhler and Louise Uhler (Schuck). He is survived by: his wife Mary "Kay" Uhler (Schachte) of Daniel Island, SC; and his son Jon Karl Uhler of Los Angles, CA..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be sent to All Saints Lutheran Church.
