He was predeceased by: his wife Florence. He is survived by: his grandfather Matthias Patrick Andrew Genser; his friend Bark; his stepchild Susan Knorr Gale; his siblings, Geneva Cusack of Joplin and Ann Stults of Phoenix; his stepdaughters, Teddy, Toni, Sue, Amy Mercer, Erin Grimm, Chris Gale, Andrew Gale and Alex Gale; and his great grandchildren, Will Mercer, Miles Mercer, Reid Mercer, Gabe Grimm and Harrison Grimm.
His family extends their gratitude for your friendships and love for Matt and in lieu of flowers, they would prefer donations be made to the ASPCA.
