It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Gustis of Daniel Island, South Carolina, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee Kauffman, II and Elizabeth Wright Kauffman; her husband Charles; and her brother Walter Lee Kauffman, III. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer (Ken) and Matthew (Jessica); her siblings, Nancy and Peter; her grandchildren, Madeline (Samuel), Jackson, Nina, Isabella, Freya and Greta; her great grandchildren, Ella Ruth and Eden; her pet Airedales; and her great-uncle Harry Kellar.
