It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mabel Joye Ward of Daniel Island, South Carolina, born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Acue Joye and Irene Miller Joye; her former husband John Carroll Taylor; her husband David Junior Ward; and her siblings, Stoll Joye, Haskell Joye and Helen Joye Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, John C. Taylor (Martha) and Joye Honeycutt (Jim); and her grandchildren, Bain Taylor (Mary Ann), Brian Taylor (Leslie), Justin Honeycutt (Adrian) and Cooper Honeycutt (Erin). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
