Frances Pruitt Welch Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2023, at the age of 101, Frances Pruitt Welch of Daniel Island, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Riley and Annie Bolt Pruitt; and her husband Franklin Richardson Welch. She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Elaine Taylor (Freeman) and Anne Welch Richter (Lawrence); and her grandchildren, Elisa G. Planty (John), Britton Welch Gentry, Elaine G. Carilli (Drew), Alice Anne Richter (Joseph Cerato), Claire R. DeVeaux (Al) and Anna E. Richter (Curtis Powell). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
