He was predeceased by: his mother Ella Ree Cooper; his daughter Quanna "Bonay" Cooper; his parents-in-law, Isaac and Angeline Dargan; and his sister-in-law Mary Dargan Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Dargan Cooper; his children, Shelton Cooper (Veronique) and Shanieka Cooper of Sumter, SC; and his siblings, James Lee Cooper of Sumter, SC, Ernest Cooper (Ella) of Marion, SC, John Clinkscales (Wanda), Harlem, Curtis Clinkscales of Columbia and Sharon (Gordon).
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home 2235 Sanford Drive, Sumter.
