She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bowen and Fannie Bowen; and her nephew Louis Alston. She is survived by: her brother Thomas; her nephew Edward Alston; her children, Albert Jr. (Betty) of Dalzell, James of Dalzell, Willie of Havre, Lyndon (Annette) of Charlotte, Betty Murray of Chesapeake and Denise Mitchell of Sumter; and her siblings-in-law, Aaron Abram of New York and Ella Bradford (Napoleon) of Clover. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 4290 Queen Chapel Road, Dalzell.
