He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Jones Beorma; his stepfather Gene Hooks, Sr.; and his pet Marci. He is survived by: his father Jerry Lee; his daughter Brandi Lee McElroy (Jordan) of Michigan; his siblings, Gene Hooks, Jr. (Tracy Lowry) of Wedgefield, Julius "Hootie" Lee of Sumter, Curtis Lee of Manning, Sherry H. Yow (Joe) of Sumter, Kelly Meyers of Sumter and Ann Klee of Sumter; his grandson Ban; and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Caleb, Jazz and Tiffany.
