She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Henry and Susan Drayton Nathaniel; her former husband John Thomas Spencer; and her child Thomasenia. She is survived by: her children, John Thomas Jr. (Nicole) of Hephzibah, GA and Barbara Spencer of Capital Height, MD; her husband Henry Kind; her daughter Gladys Davis (Jerome) of Silver Spring, MD; her siblings, Deacon Paul Nathaniel (Rosa), Susan Martin of Sumter and Rev. Jannette Jenkins (Minister James H.) of Sumter; and her son-in-law Paul Scott of Sumter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
