He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Henson Rocheleau. He is survived by: his wife Christie Sturkey Rocheleau of Dalzell; his father Ken Rocheleau of Charlevoix, MI; his daughter Abigail Rocheleau of Dalzell; his sister Sarah Rocheleau (Derek Woodgate) of Charlevoix, MI; his niece Lily Woodgate of Charlevoix, MI; his parents-in-law, Marion Sturkey of Plum Branch, SC and Agnes Sturkey of Wilmington, NC; his uncle Alec Roy Henson (Ann) of England; his aunt Josephine Parry (Colin) of England; and his cousins, Clare Houghton of England and Kate Halfpenny of England.

The family request that those in attendance of the services please practice social distancing and wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the America Cancer Society, 200 Center Pointe Circle, Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210.

“Sadly, I just learned of Nick's and his mother's passing. I knew Nick when he was 10 years old and in Cheboygan. I was relocated to Cheboygan in 1980 by Aetna to handle casualty claims in 20 counties up in northern Michigan. I met Ken as he did commercial photography. When a serious claim required photos I always called him. I became friends with the family. In 1983 Aetna promoted me and I relocated once again. I never saw them again. I pray you find peace and comfort.”

“I retired from the same position as Nick did in AFCENT. I frequently saw him either in the halls at work or grabbing a sandwich in the commissary. I will truly miss my friend, and I know you will. He was a great man. I offer my sincerest condolences for your loss. The world has truly lost a great person, but he will live on though you.”
