He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Harbath; and his daughter Kim Harbath. He is survived by: his father Irvin Harbath; his wife Barbara Marian Ankin Harbath; his children, Karen Laverdiere (James) of Sumter, Karl Harbath of Sumter and Kevin Harbath (Tammy) of Falling Waters; his brother Denis Harbath of Sumter; and his grandchildren, Ronald DelBeni, Josie Mooneyhan, James L. Laverdiere, Cory Harbath and Gavin Harbath. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. James Lutheran Church (1137 Alice Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery (802 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150).
