He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Clinton Nix and Pauline "Polly" Roberts Nix. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Nix; his sons, Andrew James "Andy" Nix (Stacy) and Scott Clinton Nix (Meghan); his granddaughters, Marian Elizabeth Nix "Maribeth" Hill (Andrew), Claudia "Rollins" Nix, Caroline Wherry Nix and Annabelle Rose Nix; and his siblings, Barbara Jean "B. J." Cathey, Carl Michael "Mike" Nix (Claudia) and Robert Stephen "Bob" Nix (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Dalzell Methodist Church (3330 Black River Rd, Dalzell, SC 29040). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
