He was predeceased by: his parents, Booker T. Boyd Sr. and Leola Sanders Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Glenn Vivian Boyd; his daughters, Dr. Wendy Boyd Pooler of Georgia and Cindy Boyd of New Jersey; his stepdaughters, Avis Howard of Atlanta, Latosha Segar of Chesapeake and Mia Sinkler of Valdosta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Madison Pooler and London Pooler; his stepgrandchildren, Infinity Daniels, Takyia Daniels, Jalile Daniels, Malayis Brown, Amayah Segar, Saliyah Segar and Syniah Segar; his sister Martha Boyd Brunson of Dalzell; his sister-in-law Barbara Kearse of New Jersey; his nieces, Joyce Bradley Watts and Marcie Raysor (Tyrone); and his nephew Kevin Brunson. He is also survived by five uncles; six aunts, and a host of other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 703 Bracey Mill Road, Dalzell.
