He is survived by: his wife Yoshiko Akamine Beckwoth; his sons, Michael D. Beckworth (Lynda) of Irmo, SC and Bobby D. Beckworth (Renee Mattei) of Ninety-Six, SC; and his grandson Bobby D. Beckworth, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
