He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Grooms and Liz Grooms. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Jeffcoat Grooms; his son Scott W. Grooms of Chicago, Illinois; and his siblings, Steve Grooms (Carl Hudson) of Goose Creek, S. C., Patty G. Lussier (Todd) of Cross, S. C. and Sharon G. Kizer (Murray) of Harleyville, S. C.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
